Writers Corner: Launch

As promised, starting this month, I am sharing a second post that includes some of my original writing projects from different genres. In the spirit of love, as Valentine's Day just passed, I'm sharing a poem about one of the activities I enjoy: traveling.

In Between and on the Move: Chronicles of a Wanderluster

It's time again

I can't seem to be still

I long for the zip of the suitcase

The hum of the plane

The sweet feeling of finding what's been waiting for me

I live to see the lights burn bright

The sky turn grey as the rain falls perfectly on my nose

The sun beating heavily as I make my way along the shore

New flavors

New walls

The voices of strangers

The fast paced movement of free

Not knowing the in between

I live for the times

Of being missed and missing

Of knowing home will always be there

For it's in those I love and embrace

But this thrill, I'll take it on the run until I'm back again
